Yellowstone, Big Horns, Devil's Tower, Black Hills, Badlands, and the Great Smokies Road Trip.
In the summer of 2015, I drove over 6500 miles. I visited many great national and state parks, as well as visiting family and friends in Nebraska and Minnesota.
Ireland
In July 2014, I traveled to Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Iceland
During the summer of 2013, I traveled to Iceland. I drove the ring road for over 830 miles. While there, I saw fantastic geothermal features including the original geyser. My favorite tourist spot was the Blue Lagoon, which is a pool that is supplied by the extra water from geothermal power generation.
The abundant wildlife was fantastic. There were a fascinating diversity of birds such as puffins, ducks, raptors, geese, and swans. I also saw several different mammals, like whales, seals, foxes, and sheep.

Costa Rica
In the summer of 2011, I accompanied a group of ladies as their tour guide and driver to Costa Rica. It was a fantastic vacation. I was looking forward to seeing the Arenal volcano, but it went dormant about six months prior to my trip. We saw mostly central Costa Rica, so I would love to return and see more of the coast.
One of the highlights of the trip was my zip line adventure. Here is the last in a series of zip lines. They zig-zagged from the top of the mountain to the bottom. It was exhilarating!
Morocco
In the summer of 2009, I traveled with my father to Morocco. He was a Peace Corps volunteer there from 1970 to 1974. We mainly did a north and central tour from Rabat to Chefchaouen, and then to Moulay Idriss and Fes.
